Before painting or coating, surfaces must be entirely free of dirt, dust, grease, oil, salt, and other foreign materials, with residues removed using appropriate methods. Any weld spatter and sharp edges are addressed through grinding to ensure a smooth surface. Successful paint application depends on meticulous surface preparation, proper film thickness, favorable climatic conditions during the process, and correct application methods.
